The saputo vaccination clinic

The saputo vaccination clinic

While we certainly felt the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, our response stayed true to the values our Company was built on. For us, it’s always about doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.

Our employees are the heartbeat of our Company and their health always comes first. In addition, being there to give back to the communities that have helped us flourish has always been part of who we are as an organization.

So, when the Québec government called on businesses to join the mass vaccination initiative, we didn’t hesitate to raise our hand and offer to join the effort. With teamwork and a lot of hard work, we set up a mobile clinic which offered vaccinations to our employees close to our local facilities. This same mobile clinic went out to various locations in and around Montréal-Nord, to facilitate access to vaccinations for one of our city’s most vulnerable communities.

While very complex from a planning and execution perspective, the initiative represented an additional way for us to do our part to safeguard the health of our employees, their families and our valued community.

After 15 weeks in operation, the activities of the Saputo vaccination clinic officially ceased at the end of August 2021. Thanks to the passion and dedication of the clinic’s team, a total of 11,330 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered

We are so proud of our team’s efforts in helping to speed up the vaccination process for our families and our community!
