Dividends

Saputo has a policy of declaring quarterly cash dividends on the Common Shares. The Board of Directors reviews the Company’s dividend policy at least once annually, based on factors such as financial condition, financial performance, capital requirements.

Eligible Dividends

Saputo, for purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and other similar provincial legislation, designates all dividends paid to be eligible dividends unless indicated otherwise. It is currently anticipated that future dividends will be eligible dividends.

A portion of the dividend previously paid does not qualify as an eligible dividend:
