Saputo’s Season of Giving raises nearly $600,000 for local community organizations

Saputo employees rallied nationwide for the dairy processor's first-ever Season of Giving, raising $595,766 and collecting 1,440 kilograms of food to support individuals and families in need across Canada.

From November 10 to December 5, 2025, the campaign united employees from coast to coast with one goal: to make a difference. Through donations, food drives, and creative fundraising activities, they supported United Way, Food Banks Canada, and other local charities. The campaign focused on social inclusion, food security, and essential community services, demonstrating how generosity truly brings people together.

“This Season of Giving has shown the power of unity and compassion,” said Haig Poutchigian, President and Chief Operating Officer, Dairy Division (Canada). “It proves that when people work together, they can create meaningful change in their communities.”

Behind the scenes, employee ambassadors played a key role in the campaign, organizing creative on-site activities – like trivia games and prize raffles – to raise funds for the cause.

But that’s not all! Beyond fundraising, the food drives delivered immediate relief to families facing hardship, with the collected goods helping provide an estimated 3,200 meals.

Through this first Season of Giving, Saputo’s generous employees underscored how collective action can drive measurable, positive impact, reinforcing the dairy processor’s long-held belief that giving back tastes good.
