At Saputo, giving back tastes good.

The Big Cook Up was created to benefit both our employees and the communities where we operate.

Through this rallying event, we offer our employees the opportunity to share a memorable experience, elevated by our passion for quality food and the satisfying pride of giving back.

Since its launch in 2017, our community engagement program has grown steadily to reach new regions and communities. On November 13, 2019, over 1,000 employees gathered in Canada, the United States, Australia and, for the first time, in Argentina. Together, they cooked over 30,000 meals for families in need.

The Big Cook Up at the heart of the KITCHEN BRIGADES

La Tablée des Chefs mobilizes its Kitchen Brigades again by deploying The Saputo Big Cook Up in 150 high schools across Québec. Through this program, students have the occasion to develop their culinary skills while learning how to make a real difference in their community. This year, their participation allowed Saputo to give 60,000 portions of lasagnas back to local community organizations who support people dealing with food insecurity.
